CORDOBA model 49, Classical Guitar (hand-made, Spain) Top : solid cedar Back/Side : Rio Rosewood  Tuning machine head : Gold Saddle : special Rosewood Fingerboard : Ebony Neck : special Cedar Cordoba 49 have the clarity and brilliant tone. We tested this instrument for playing medium up to difficult pieces of classical guitar scores. This guitar has the sweet treble tone without sacrificing the depth of bass tone and it's volume projection. It is very light to play, I liked to play this guitar for lengthy pieces such as Valses Poeticos (E. Granados), Chaconne (J.S.Bach - BWV1004), etc - as it proves, I feels easy to produce the tone coloring for deeper song's interpretation. The only disadvantage in my personal opinion, this guitar's finishing is thin and plain looking, perhaps this is the reason if the luthier do not want to compromise the sound quality with such a cheap thick varnish sound-hole finishing ! The unique design in model 49 is the neck / body joint construction is un-commonly found in other typical Spanish classical guitars. It has the special neck/body construction in-herited from higher level Cordoba models in reasonable price.
