The Soprano 1A is the best all solid woods Soprano nylon string guitar (Spain hand-made), we select the top grade of Cedar for top and Indian Rosewood for back & side. This model is designed to tune at 1 Octave higher than the prime guitar. As such, the total nut to saddle scale is only 40.5 Cm, making it the smallest size among other ensemble guitar models. To ensure maximal resonance output & depth of notes for high frequencies, this model only available with full body (no cut away) and with as light as possible cedar top bracing. We believe symmetrical 5 parallel bracings and 2 horizontal bracings patterns with generous scalloped bracing on quarter sawn spruce is the best choice for soprano guitar.

The head machines are high quality gold head machine with high gear ratio. The cow bones are selected for nut and saddle to ensure transparency on higher frequency output. The neck width at nut follow full size guitar 51mm.

The Soprano strings
We use Hannabach 835 Soprano (Octave) strings set made-in Germany. Hannabach' founder, Mr. Werner Hannabach knew excatly what it takes to make the correct strings for an Octave higher pitches, so after much of researched, he came up with those special diameter & materials to ensure Soprano guitarist will not feel overly tight tension and produce vibrant & lively tones especially with the trebles.

 

Overall assessment, we only make model 1A as the only available Soprano guitar because only the high grade of all solid woods with special quality bracings guitar can deliver the good quality of high frequency octave tones
