About Savarez Corum
The Corum (patented name) is a trade-mark name of the Savarez’ silver plated wound basses. The Corum ™ was the 2nd Savarez string’s revolution (note the KF ALLIANCE or composite fibre trebles was the first revolution) that set the classical bass strings’ benchmark standard higher than ever before. The Corum wound basses offer great flexibility associated with the proper surface stiffness. They also offer enhanced playability if compared to the traditional nickel wound strings.
The Savarez’ Corum strings were designed for minimal internal frictions, hence it responses more swiftly to the player’s fingers while sounds will last longer at higher frequency.
The Savarez’ manufacturing break-through enable them to manufacture strings with enhanced & consistent level of playability and very quick / accurate responses to the player’s fingers. Many top guitarist chose the Corum Series because this strings allow them to shape their individual tone colours.
The CORUM basses offers a perfect balance when combined it with the New Cristal trebles, thus an exclusive products available only in Savarez brand.

When playing, the CORUM basses high tension, blue colour, offer a normal tension string feeling (ease in playing without extra efforts). They have all the traits of a high tension string (velocity, support, quick response, etc).

• Flexibility,
• Quick response to be compared to a high tension string,
• Brilliant, accurate and direct sound,
• Clean sound,
• Longer sustain and volume,
• Ease in playing,
• Tremendous increase in the bass sound modulation and un-limited expression can be achieved with this strings (improved your music expression, nuances, more tones colors).

Note :
The Corum basses also make up the combination of CORUM / ALLIANCE KF sets in which the Corum basses are coupled with the carbon figre trebles in set strings. In this case refer to 500AR & 500AJ.

About New Cristal trebles

The New Cristal are produced from a new improved nylon material by optimising the density of crystal particles of the string until the materials achieve perfect links among the nylon molecule
Savarez’ state of the art’ production methods enables them to produce a top quality clear nylon string, as transparent as crystal which guarantee to get a perfect string’s intonation product.
This New Cristal nylon strings are not traditionally rectified by a conventional mechanical way in order to keep a smoother surface on the strings. But Savarez applies a computerised surface treatment and a control driven by a laser guided beam and photoelectric cells that permit a truly precise & regular gauges measurement on each string’ diameter.
With these proprietary technology break-through, the Savarez set higher industry benchmark in the history of producing a new breed of nylon trebles strings and we achieved giant leap improvement in clarity of sound. For these reasons we now use it for all the Savarez sets which contain nylon trebles.
