In 2010, Vintage launched the V400MH solid mahogany top and mahogany back/side. It is about “the best sound” and “easy to play” guitar which made it ranked at the top choice for budget guitar.
The minimalist finish on carefully selected solid mahogany top, super light weight (compare to other brands), nearly no cosmetic except only for a herringbone rosette & body with deep rims that makes this model delivers the maximal resonant & volume in broad spectrum of frequencies. The guitar effortlessly is capable to project the full tonal spectrum of vintage acoustic tones. The top 2 strings delivers a little bit raw under rigorous picking styles (you will like it), while the low and medium tones have a generous warmth, powerful, punchy & richness in overall traits. That’s why it was nominated as the best sounding guitar under 500 Poundsterling.
V400MH has 43mm nut width and nicely 55mm strings spacing on saddle, nicely curved thin C shape neck, rosewood fretboard with nicely bevelled edges that is easy to play and friendly on your fingers grip. In this case, Luthier Guitar team carefully doing the set-up one by one again on top of the factory’s standard set-up QA to ensure you will find it very friendly on your fingers. The build echoes Martin’s austerity instruments back in 1930s – 40s, typified with all mahogany style the D15, while the bridge reminds us ‘Tailorish like’ bridge wings.
