‘There’s good reason why Vintage acoustics are so popular – they’re good guitars and real value for money.’

Vintage® Travel Series
Vintage Travel with solid spruce top, mahogany body in smooth satin sheen finish include Vintage padded bag
One thing in common within the low to mid-range of Vintage guitars, they have much more punched above their weight, performing at least on par or better with much more perceived premium brands.
In case of the Vintage Travel guitar, once open out of the box, this model comes with a Vintage padded bag. It slightly smaller than typical 3-qtr size guitar, a 57cm scale (nut to saddle) with total length 34” (86.5 cm) and body upper thickness 7.5cm with lower thickness 8.5cm, an ideal choice either for travel companion or as first beginner’s guitar. Vintage Travel will head-on against the established Baby Taylor (with bolt-on neck hill system) & Martin Backpaker (ultra sleek design). Vintage Travel has a proven dove-tail neck hill system which commonly used in high-end guitars while Baby Taylor with it’s 2 bolt-on screws may throw in more benefit for the OEM factory as it is the easiest assembly process in the production lines. Only the time will prove & your local weather will be the judge which neck hill set up system is suitable for your place. We love the satin sheen finish of this travel guitar, it feels smooth, not easily mark our finger prints (as a travel companion is a good finish choice), it doesn’t dampen the resonance and allowing us admire the wood grains as it is. In contrast, the Baby Taylor may left rough surface feeling as it is essentially open-pores satin (no sheen) concept.
Sound : “tonally, the little Vintage Travel sounds pretty good, you wouldn’t expect a booming bass for this small body, but play gently especially fingerstyle and the sweetness of the solid spruce comes through really well”.
Conclusion : “Vintage really have cooked up a little cracker and with the addition set of heavier gauge strings, it’s an extremely persuasive proposition at this price point”.
Workmanship : lovely satin sheen finish, compact enough for real travel use, nice bright tones
