From the minute you strum, it's resonance propagate some tonal clarity, rich and crisp of high frequency trebles, sustain middle tones and punchy bottom frequency bass. In addition, we pre-set up every single Washburn acoustic guitars prior to display on our showroom. On your date of purchase, if you feels there are minor aspect need to tweak, ask our expert to do that for you. All Washburn guitars came with D'Addario EXP Light gauge (.012 - .053) from the factory as standard strings. Upon your purchase and when it is due time for you to re-string your Washburn guitar, you may want to try the Cleartone Phosphor Bronze, BlueGrass tension (.012 - .056), this guitar's maximal potential will easily prevail. With our low action set-up, this guitar is easy to play while tweaking with the right string & tension relative to it's set-up position, you will treasure this guitar forever ! Solid bracing construction = Quarter Sawn Scallop Bracing system are applied to any WD10S, all available colors

An important key diferentiator against the rest 'cheaper quality' acoustic guitars, this model select only quarter sawn hardwood spruce as the important bracing components. The hardwood Spruce when it is cut with correct angle like the 'Quarter Sawn' planes will show parallel grains which produce Strength / Weight high ratio. Next, is the naturally dried raw spruce woods before it gets into production run. Combine together we have the Strength, Stiffness & correct parallel Spruce grains propagates acoustic waves very well while do not over-loading the guitar's top. There are great deal of time, efforts & cost to build a Quarter Sawn Scallop Bracing which cheap guitars neglecting those important traits. The correctly sawn Spruce with high ratio of strength over weight allows the makers to 'scalloped' it for reducing weight but maintain it's strength to protect the guitar' top able to withstand the high pull energy from the neck with it's 6 strings. A correctly angle bracing both for tones bracing and trebles bracing will determine the end result of guitar's Tones characteristic.
